Here’s a word to stimulate your appetite for prayer…
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord isagainst those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. —Psalm 34:15-17, NKJV
So now the question is which are you— the righteous or one who do evil?
If you are the righteous —one whom God has justified (declared to be in right relationship with Him) because you have faith in Jesus Christ and has received Him as your Savior and Lord, then you can rest in knowing when you pray He hears. Not only does God hear you, but He comes to your rescue and delivers you.
I’m so grateful that You sent Your Son Jesus Christ, and that You declared me to righteous because I have received Him into my heart as my Savior and Lord. Now I can cry out to You in prayer with confidence and hope. Thank You for watching me and listening to my prayers. Thank You that when I cry out You hear me and answer; and you deliver me from all my troubles. Thank You, Father.
